Kiener Plaza, in the heart of downtown St. Louis, was the center of activity for the Independence Day celebration sponsored by VP Fair. Native Landscape Solutions, Inc. (NLS), through Great Rivers Greenway, maintains Kiener Plaza on a daily basis, taking care of the turf, trees, shrubs and perennials, many of which are Missouri native plants. Prior to the long weekend celebration, NLS installed new sod in select areas, trimmed shrubs, and cleaned up the many planting beds. The Plaza looked great and we’re proud of our small role in helping to make the Fourth of July party a memorable one for our city.
