Big pat on the back to our friends at Kirkwood Parks and recreation. Peter and his crews have what we feel is a real hidden gem in Kirkwood. Greentree park nature walk is full of native grasses, sedges, and flowers. It is so cool to walk this site and see all the pollinators and to enjoy all there is to see!
Over the last few seasons, Kirkwood Parks and Rec has teamed with Native Landscape Solutions to help this area of the park to come back around. This location has some unique challenges, between the marsh areas, and seasonal flooding. We recently had our team members Steve and Romualdo treating some invasive species of plants throughout this area.
The Kirkwood Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing a variety of leisure experiences to the citizens of Kirkwood, as well as residents of surrounding communities. We at Native Landscape Solutions are so happy to partner with them in achieving this mission!
