Native Landscape was called in to help our partners at the Great Rivers Greenway during the ice storm that hit the St. Louis area late February. A tractor trailer slid off Highway 55 and right onto a Great River Greenway trail, taking out part of a wall and closing part of the Gravois Greenway until further notice. The trail had to be closed due to icy conditions and the large amounts of debris. Our awesome employees, Steve and Frank, went back out on Monday, February 28th and cleaned up debris, soil, rock, and oil from the accident. This allowed the trail to open back up for visitors to enjoy during the beautiful weather this week. Take a look at these 3 before pictures showing the damage and mess from the storm and accident compared to the after picture. We are so proud to help and get people enjoying the trail again so quickly with the blue sky and sun shining.
We here at Native Landscape Solutions are very excited to partner with Great Rivers Greenway. They have 128 mile (and counting) of beautiful greenways for hiking, biking, and bringing communities together.
